About Us

Dr. Yin received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from McGill University, where she graduated with Distinction in recognition of high academic excellence. She subsequently obtained her Prosthodontics Certificate and Master of Science in Oral Biology degree at the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution, upon completion of her 3-year postdoctoral Advanced Specialty Education Program in Prosthodontics.

Dr. Yin enjoys providing personalized care to patients in  private practice. She also works as medical staff prosthodontist at the BC Cancer Agency, where she serves medically complex patients. Dr. Yin is currently the Vice President of the British Columbia Society of Prosthodontists and the Prosthodontic Representative of the Dental Specialists Society of British Columbia. Her previous experience as Clinical Assistant Professor at Penn Dental Medicine and teaching residents at BC Cancer Agency allowed her to transfer knowledge to students while building positive interpersonal relations.

Dr. Yin is fluent in English, Chinese and French. Applying her skills and knowledge to patient care while developing trusting relationships is the most gratifying part of her clinical experience. Her expertise includes the esthetic and functional restoration and replacement of teeth using crowns, bridges, veneers, implant-supported restorations, full-arch prostheses, full-mouth rehabilitations, and removable prostheses.
